Aggiefest 2011 Art Walk

I am one of 3 photographers out of 12 artists total that get to participate in the first annual Art Walk in connection with Aggiefest.  I will be set up at Thread, the T-shirt shop next to Dusty's Bookshelf.   So if you are free Fri 6-9 or Sat 4-9 so come on down and check out my display!

52 Weeks of Awesomeness-Week 6- Guilty Pleasures

So this isn't really a guilty pleasure but I thought it was fitting since watching TV is about all I can do right now and Rascal seems to be the only one (besides my family of course) that is a constant in my life.  I DID NOT STAGE THIS PHOTOGRAPH!!!  I was headed to bed last night and I looked over to see him sleeping on the remote.  I thought it was super cute so I had to get my camera.  Well about the time I started taking pictures he woke up, sat up and started 'modeling'.  So here is my picture of the week! 

P.S. I know I missed week 5 but I had a rough week with my hip surgery recovery so I just decided to skip it. 

52 Weeks of Awesomeness --> week 4--> Your Name

I used my camera to capture the image that was a sticker I bought at Hobby Lobby and then I 'painted' over it with Photoshop and added the text. The photo speaks for itself as far as the concept of my name.  And this should give you a little bit of an idea of how my business name came about!  Enjoy!

52 Weeks of Awesomeness --> week 3--> Show Us Your Home

So I am a little late this week because I couldn't decide what to do.  My apartment isn't really the cleanest place right now since bending down is a little difficult.  I went outside tonight and I was going to look at the Perseid meteor shower, but all the neighbors had their porch lights on and it was too bright.  I saw these lights in our flowerbed and thought that would be a fun way for my project this week.  So here we go for week #3!

52 Weeks of Awesomeness --> week 2--> Introduce Yourself

This week was a tough one for me because I have a AWFUL TIME seeing my arms in photos!  I wanted to do this picture this way because I wanted to use it as the main focus and it is the main thing people remember me for.  I was born missing my radius bones and that is what causes my arms to be shorter.  

I chose to wear my Beads of Hope in the picture because that's another part of me, as I am a bead distributor for the Village of Hope Uganda.  You can use the link to read more about the project and if you would like to buy something please let me know :) So that is a little bit more information about me.  Turn in next of the 52 WOA!   

52 Weeks of Awesomeness --> week 1--> Free For All

I am going to be attempting to do a project called 52 weeks of Awesomeness with a few fellow Photogs.  I am about to have hip surgery so we will see how this goes but for now here is my random 'Free For All' Photo.

  Not my best work but for being taken late at night I didn't have many things to photograph.  I tried to give it a feel as if was in an aquarium.  What do you think about it?!?!
